Stars from the Brazilian Hip Hop, R'n'B and Samba scene come together for one night to pay tribute to Gangsta Samba sensation Bezerra da Silva in a live show.

Initially classified as sambandido (gangsta samba) the music of Bezerra da Silva exploded onto the Brazilian pagode scene during the 80's and remains phenomenally popular, influencing a whole generation of musicians who followed.

His music delights in an "in your face" attitude. In his sambas, the word "love" is never heard. His favorite subjects are the survival tactics of the cool dude dodging the law to survive.

Each of the performers in this live act will make reference to Bezerra da Silva and his strong influence on their musical style and sound.
