Up
Against Them All is a story about the lies, treachery and
vengeance of a middle-class family living on the outskirts
of São Paulo. Four characters try desperately to change
their lives, but are unable to escape their destiny.

Director:
Roberto Moreira has written and directed short films such
as O Cão Louco Mario Pedrosa (2003) and A Princesa
Radar (1992), which participated in festivals in Italy, Sweden,
Germany and Brazil. He received, together with Jean-Claude
Bernardet, the Best Screenplay Award at the Brasília
Festival 96 for the feature-length film Um Céu de Estrelas,
directed by Tata Amaral. He was apprentice at Fabrica in Italy,
an institute belonging to the Benetton Group.
