ALMA MATER
  Religious...and sexual epiphanies

Pamela is shy and leads an insipid and anonymous life working as a supermarket cashier.

As a religious devout her only solace is her regular attendance to Church to listen to the evangelical minister. However, a growing and gradual desire to have a child takes over Pamela's life. Suddenly miracles start to occur… and messages of a marvelous destiny start to reach Pamela in unusual ways.

Her world changes when she is befriended by a glamorous protective transvestite who tries to make sense of Pamela's belief that the 'Savior of the Next Millennium' is apparently on his way and everything indicates that Pamela, a virgin, is carrying said saviour.

Confused Pamela undertakes an inner voyage, attempting to reconcile the desire of conception with her religious notions…

A paradoxical voyage the more mystic she grows, the more human she becomes.
