Music driven story of young heroes rising from an urban ghetto to popular recognition.

From their impoverished surroundings, four boys from the slums in Brazil dream of setting up a radio station that will express their reality and music.

In a short time, the radio gains a huge following and becomes notorious for its upfront attitude and spontaneous language. Soon the station reaches far beyond the extent of its air waves, bringing our heroes into a close clash with the authorities.
