A story of lies, betrayal and revenge within a disintegrating family in a lawless neighbourhood in the outskirsts of São Paulo where violence has been completly incorporated into daily life and people cannot escape their destiny.

Teodoro, seemingly a family man and evangelical devout, leads a double life as a hit man. He rules over his second wife Claudia by bringing enough to money to buy meat and cook Sunday lunches.

His teenage drugged out daughter Soninha desperately seeks her father's attention but besides courting a young evangelical woman at his church, and shady dealings with business associate Waldomiro, Teodoro has not time for Soninha. When Claudia's occasional lover gets killed, may be by Teodoro, a chain of violence is set to down spiral in this gritty and blistering drama.
