The Body

A pathologist is confronted with the mysterious body of a woman found in a mass grave of tortured victims by the military dictatorship thirty years ago. Strangely, the body is perfectly preserved, as if death had occurred only recently. The body bears a number of scars. He embarks on a quest to discover her identity unearthing horrific secrets from the past.

Rossana Foglia and Rubens Rewald direct together and their previous  film "Mutante" (Mutant) won Best short film award, Bahia Festival 2002, Clermont-Ferrand Competition 2003.

Producer:

Paulo Boccato Produced over 15 short films, including Janela Aberta by Philippe Barcinski (Official Selection, Cannes 2003) and A Lata (The Can) by Leopoldo Nunes (Special Jury Award, Brasilia Festival 2003).

He is managing director of the Glaz Cinema.
